Laura Linney

Laura Linney was born in New York in New York on February 5 1964. She is an American actor who is well-known for her ability to portray strong characters who are also at risk. Linney comes from a theatrical heritage, her father was a playwright Romulus Linney. In 1986, she graduated from Brown University. She then went on to study Theatre Arts at Arts Theatre School Moscow before getting her degree from Juilliard School with a M.F.A. located in New York City in 1990. She began to perform on Broadway in the very first week, and soon received high praise for her performance in Six Degrees of Separation (Six Degrees of Separation) and Hedda Galer.
